Center Parcs, Elveden Forest Rebuild

Following a major fire on 4th April 2002 Edmond Shipway were requested to join the Development Director in leading the rebuild of 27,000 m2 of central facilities at Center Parcs, Elveden Village.

With the village closed, we developed a strategy to deliver the village in the shortest possible time. 19 Weeks after the fire the site had been cleared and a Main Contractor procured.

Work commenced on 19th August 2002 and completed only 43 weeks later, on time and within budget . The village opened two weeks later giving a total project duration of only 64 weeks. As well as returning the village in record time we were responsible for the coordination of the fit out of all the units interfacing over £10 million of FFE/OPE in the last 8 weeks of the project.
