We are delighted to announce our appointment by the ARBA Group as Project Manager and Cost Consultant on the £12m regeneration project for Mansfield’s Stockwell Gateway development of the former transport station.
Plans include a six-storey,100-bedroom hotel and the arrival of three major companies; Mexican inspired chain Taco Bell, joined by Canadian brand Tim Hortons which has been expanding in the UK since 2017 and Dominoes Pizza which is moving from its current base in the Rosemary Centre.
Calculations show that up to around 140 jobs will be created by the project, and that it is forecast to inject £5m into the local Mansfield economy every year. The development, now on site, is part of the council’s long-term masterplan for the town centre and is key to creating a more vibrant and thriving place to visit.
Richard Burns, Managing Director of the ARBA Group, welcomed all three brands.
He said: “We’re delighted to share this good news, not just because it brings internationally-loved brands to the development, but also because it shows confidence in Mansfield town centre and will provide exciting alternative dining options. ARBA Group brought the hugely-popular Capo Lounge brand to Mansfield town centre a couple of years ago, and we are confident that the new outlets will also become firm favourites.”
Andy Abrahams, Mansfield’s Mayor, also welcomed the news.
He said: “We are delighted to be welcoming these renowned brands to Mansfield, where they will widen the choice available to residents and visitors.
