Nine-storey hotel, the first of the airport’s five hotels to employ a modular build system – allowing all 178 bedrooms to be installed within a four-week period.

The long rectangular shape of the main building was designed to suit this process which involves assembling portions of the hotel off-site, before transporting them for completion. In doing so, the team could ensure consistent quality of each bedroom and accelerate the overall build schedule.

The look and feel of the development has been carefully considered to fit in with existing buildings, such as the nearby Concorde House and Diamond House, and will features a striking entryway with public areas to the ground floor. The scheme also includes provision of a new bar and restaurant, as well as a business centre, several meeting rooms and a garden lounge area.
