Center Parcs Longford Forest was officially opened on Friday 5th July 2019 by An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar T.D. Seen here with Center Parcs CEO Martin Dalby, GM Daragh Feighery and Shipways MD David Stevenson.
An Taoiseach said “This is a fantastic new tourism facility in the Midlands. It’s world class. 1,000 new jobs. It’ll bring unprecedented numbers of tourists to this beautiful part of the country after a €233million investment by the company.”
Martin Dalby commented “ it’s been Four years since we announced our plans to expand into Ireland, we all feel an enormous sense of pride and achievement to see the beautiful surroundings of Newcastle Wood transformed into Center Parcs Longford Forest and for Ireland’s families to finally have the opportunity to enjoy a unique forest resort experience.”
We are delighted to have completed another exceptional new Village for Center Parcs, this time at Longford Forest in Ireland. Everyone I speak to is thrilled with the project and we in turn are extremely proud to have led its delivery.
