The complex includes an Intensive Care Unit and hybrid theatre which caries out investigative and structural procedures in the same location.
The Bristol Heart Institute was designed in partnership with patients, staff and the public and delivers a full range of diagnostic and interventional treatments for heart conditions to the people of Bristol, the South West and beyond.
Located behind the Bristol Royal Infirmary, the new building is landscaped into the leafy hillside facing Kingsdown and was designed with the patient in mind. Patients have been involved in every stage of the design to make everything easier for those being treated in the building.
