The development consists of 40,000 square metres of centre buildings, 700 lodges, a 75 bed hotel and 12 spa suites delivered in 360 acres of stunning forest at Woburn, Bedfordshire.
The development has its own energy centre with a significant proportion of the Village’s energy requirement generated on site and its heating load distributed on site and its heating load distributed via a unique district heating system.
As well as acting as Lead Consultant in the planning, design and construction phases, Edmond Shipway played a key role in the complex negotiations and legal agreements required to secure finance for the scheme in a difficult funding environment.
