Merthyr Health Park, Merthyr Tydfil

Edmond Shipway provided Cost Consultancy services to Laing O’Rourke as part of Designed for Life: Building for Wales Framework. for the new, state-of-the-art Merthyr Health Park.

The £25m park was funded by the Assembly Government and is built on land next to the A470 in Merthyr Tydfil.

This three storey building will bring together GP and primary care services, mental health and social care. Art students from the local college have produced a piece of artwork whcih will be displayed in the children’s waiting area of the new facilities.
