Nene Waterfront Development, Wisbech

Appointed by Campbell Reith Consulting Engineers we provided Cost Consulting services for the delivery of an iconic harbour masters office, cafe and business start up unit building at Nene Waterfront, Wisbech.

Sustainability and green issues were of significant importance in this scheme and elements of the works included the provision of wind turbines, the use of sustainable materials such as cedar cladding, air source heat pumps, grey water usage and rainwater harvesting.

We provided a value-added service provision by keeping tight control on cost via proactive cost reporting. Any deviations from the budget were highlighted quickly – necessary on this scheme as the programme was fast track. Keen commercial awareness and real time reporting delivered the project on budget.
