Four star, 218 bedroom hotel inlcudes full conference and meeting facilities, swimming pool and health club.

The hotel is the first full-service hotel to receive a BREEAM Excellent rating and includes installation of large plant oil CHP unit, rainwater recycling and SUDS drainage.

This innovative system colects and stores waste heat in a thermal store to heat and cool the whole hotel, delivering an 87% reduction in CO2 and supplying 90% of the consumed energy from a renewable source.

The scheme was delivered for 95,000 per key, setting a new cost benchmark for 4 star, sustainable hotels in the UK.
