The Co-operative Society appointed Edmond Shipway for their store re-brand and refurbishment programme for the Eastern, Northern, Wales and Border regions due to our ability to service these locations from our strategically placed network of offices across the UK.

We had a dedicated Quantity Surveying and Project Management team working with The Co-operative Society on over 280 projects per annum. Edmond Shipway’s project staff mobilised a serial refurbishment rollout programme for all UK locations and brought a normalised cost base rate, driving cost certainty within projects.

Throughout the 30+ year relationship we became an integral part of the The Co-operative Society’s strategic decision making process, dealing with both new build and refurbishment programmes with service provision offered from ground break through to completion.

More recently, our Project Managers are working on the replacement of failing refrigeration and equipment using R22 refrigerant cases, illustrating our ability to diversify service provision to exactly match Client requirements.
